Fun Bus Friday.... Today in the News 5/30/2014: Opening Statement: I need to talk about the Spelling Bee. I am not going to knock the kids who do it because they already have me beat with the fact they can spell words no one ever uses. But what is the deal with a TIE!!! You can't tie in baseball unless it's the All Star game and Bud Selig is in charge and you shouldn't end the Spelling Bee in a tie. The dictionary is filled with words pick some out and let one win. Shot of Espresso.... Today in the News 5/29/2014: Opening Statement: Leading off today a bit of a different story to share. For those wondering Where Laura, Zohreen, and Lisa are I have your answers. Laura will be on CBS13 at Nights until Mid June. She will be returning to CBS 13 and Good Day at that time but you can find her at 4PM, 5PM, and 10 Weeknights on CBS 13. Therefore meaning the 9am hour will be a mixed bag of anchors with Julissa. (Mark, Lori, Cody, Amy, Ken, Marianne)  Zohreen appears to have also moved to the night shift. You can see her at 5pm, 530pm, 6pm, and 10 pm on Fox40 Weeknights. Zohreen appears to be more permanent.  Lisa is also on Nights. She will remain there until Edie and/or Kelly return but to be honest I like her in this spot. You can see Lisa Weeknights on KCRA 3 at 5pm, 6pm, 630pm 10pm (MY58) and 11pm on KCRA 3.  So now you know what is happening on Evening News and for what is happening Today in the News......... Inspired... Today in the News 5/28/2014: Opening Statement: As we talked about yesterday and after watching the 5pm Newscasts of CBS13, KCRA, and Fox40 that this current part of Fix 50 is worse. As of today we have 29 days remaining however they hope to get it done in 24. Beside the point when you cut people from traveling a certain way you are going to have issues. But then even the alternate routes become backed up you have a serious problem. Today is day 2 lets see how the traffic goes and what else is taking place Today in the News....
